Brewers would like to buyout the following:

2B Robinson Cano 11.5m 2022 (23m total)
P Anibal Sanchez 2m 2022 (4m total)

Will put the full 27m total cap hit towards this year's payroll

Looking at it, unless I'm missing something, even after trading Pham you'll still only have about 18M in cap space for this year

If I am not mistaken, I believe I am only adding an additional 13.5m in cap hit this season (the amount for their contracts next year). This year their contracts are currently on the books as is, so current 13.5m remains on books and is simply converted to dead cap instead.
