Dallas happy to announce the following trade, after Rob inquired about Gibson and few msg to come to trade agreement.
Dallas Trade:
John Gibson, $6m (2022-23)
Alexander Volkov (Minor ECHL)
for
Kyle Connor, $4.1m (2021-22)
Jesper Bolqvist (Minor ECHL)
Vancouver 2021 3rd Round Pick
We lose that of Gibson, but a few G on the FA market that could serve as short term cover until Askarov gets to Nashville in next few years. Gain that of Connor that solidify's my LW depth for long term in Guentzel, Connor, Zadina and Hoglander.

Canucks approve!
Been looking to improve my goalie situation and not sure about affording a re-sign in a year on Connor.
In conjunction with this trade, Canucks buy-out the last year of Anderson's contract ($3m = $2m salary cap hit) to maintain only 3 goalies.
