2022 1st :POR: Portland

for

PF Richaun Holmes 0.5m 2021-2022


Philadelphia agree to this trade it opens up a roster spot and gives the team more equity for future moves. This trade has been shelved for weeks as the team wasn’t sure if they wanted to let Holmes go. Thanks Vic for the patience and easy negotiations.

Discussed a few option for Holmes at the end the most simple deal made most sense. Lots of bigs in that rotation for Kings but I do like Holmes' game and think he can be solid for me for 2 years.

I had similar thoughts but wanted him and this was the price so we'll see how it shakes up. Also hopefully that pick is a late one but who knows anything can happen plus my team might be very different after this year with my top 3 all expiring.

Putting Holmes on active and sending Bjelica down to inactive.
