2 for 1 deal with salaries being even. Given my situation won't be really partaking in FA frenzy so figured I can look into another small deal or 2 to maximize my roster spots by season start.

Wild confirm.  :toast:

We had lots of fowards and not many defenders. This deal adds an NHL defensemen to the roster and opens up another spot for a free agent. We paid on the contracts to make the cap work for toronto and got a draft pick upgrade for our trouble.
