I might be crazy for doing this because I don't think I'll be able to catch up with the Yankees or Twins, especially with both teams being loaded with young talent, but I'm willing to take a chance on winning it all this year. I am sacrificing a ton of cost controlled talent for 3 players in the last year's of their deal (Grienke, Davis, and Gurriel) and two players having career years (Santana and Anderson). The biggest chance I'm taking is giving up 5 years of Keuchel for one year of Zach Grienke but a world series would make it worth while. I am taking a chance on Thor finally being healthy and being able to compete, and I hope I don't regret taking this chance, especially considering that I am not only giving up three huge ceilings in Contrares, Restituyo, and Woods-Richardson (who has the highest ceiling of just about anyone in the minors), as well as over 10 draft picks. Getting back Luzardo, Wander Javier, and others help, but Luzardo is about the only one that is a sure thing"
*Some of these players were just included to help the cap space work out

My team isn’t going anywhere and by the time I can get it competitive these guys will be too costly or too old. Just giving the team a massive facelift

:iatp: What a deal! So many moving parts and short term ATL wins but probably ends up pretty fair long term with all the contracts/picks.
FYI- I will most likely process this when approved, so all specs will go to minors and all MLB guys will go to major roster but if you want it otherwise just let me know.

Seeing the justification and the fact that Gurriel, Khris Davis and Grienke are all rentals balances out this trade.

Blockbuster trade for sure! Anxious to see how this turns out!
