CI Tyler Austin (P-2021)

:SF: trades:

SP Jeremy Hellickson (2021 - $1.5M)

Angels agree to this trade as Austin has gotten buried in our CI depth and with demotions and injuries mounting on the SP's, we needed an arm to step in and handle some of the load.  Hellboy fits the need at the moment.

Giants are trading for another hometown player.  With the emergence of some of the other SPs on the Giants roster, trading Hellickson for a young hitter seems the way to go.
