Title: Vegas completes a trade with Montreal
Post by: ALL4U2NV on February 01, 2019, 12:33:51 PM: Vegas has decided to reshuffle portions of our rosters we're not completely happy with. That said, we announce a trade with Montreal to acquire a package that addresses our lack of depth on the blueline.

Looking to further the cause and go deeper in the postseason and felt we are getting good value for our players without sacrificing age or production. By dealing Vatanen and Claesson we hope some prospects on our farmer team can step up and fill the void. Thanks for the pro trade talks, ALL4! :toast:

Post by: PsychoticPondGoons on February 01, 2019, 02:26:14 PM: :iatp: NHL's Panthers just traded Nick to the Pens. I swear Mordecai is an NHL exec in disguise. Vatanen is only 27 and Bjugstad is 26. I'd say a scoring D is tougher to get than a scoring C.

This trade seems fair for both teams. I agree with PPG's assessment, Defence is a scarcer commodity than Centers and will give the edge to Vegas.
