:LAA: makes this deal to alleviate some roster issues that I have as well as to give me a bit more cap to work with.  I am overloaded with OF, and Matt Kemp is expensive for the type of production I will get from him.  I hate to see McKenzie go, but my minor league pitching depth is very solid and the roster spot as well as cap space will allow me to acquire another player or two to improve my team more.  Love getting Turang and Fried as well. Thanks Brian, for the easy deal!

Yikes. Seems like a steep price to pay for an OF like Kemp who I think you could get the same production in FA for a fraction of the cost. $9m/year will hurt.
