Sergey Tolchinsky, $2.1m (2017-2020)

Calgary likes the points Calvert and DeMelo post and willing to part ways with brand name players to make it happen. The others are for team depth. Ottawa to confirm. :toast:

Sens agree. I feel we're better with Bogosian, Tolchinsky and Burakovsky on our roster. Thanks for the trade DTox.

Although Ottawa is getting Bogosian, he has not been a performer in his career and has been injured frequently. Thus I would conclude the winner of this trade is Calgary.

Post by: ALL4U2NV on January 12, 2019, 02:25:57 PM: :iatp: I think Bogosian is very overrated but if you want a strong depth defender he's you guy and at a cap hit of 1.5m, that's a bargain for what he brings to the table IMO. Tolchinsky is a little bit of a head scratcher for me at least at this point in time but I can see him returning to NA and blowin' up in the new faster and smaller NHL game! If the NHL Caps move Burakovsky, he's going to post bigger point totals immediately so this is a great gamble by Ottawa.
