Habs and Flames agree to a trade.

:CLG: Flames get
Niklas Hjalmarsson, $2.6m (2017-2020)
D - Jacob Larsson (2015: 1/27 - 4 Games)

:MON-NHL: Habs get
Deryk Engelland, $3.3m (2017-2020)
D - Emeli Rasanen (2017: 2/59 - 0 Games)


I add a blueliner who's on a stronger team and prefer Rasanen's upside to Larsson potential. We take a little more cap in return but all good. DToxfan to confirm. :toast:

Calgary Flames agree to this trade with Montreal. We get a touch younger and I like Larsson more and see him as a 2nd or 3rd pairing guy in the NHL in a few years. Thanks for the deal Mordecai. :toast:
