:BOS-NHL: 2018 3rd Round Draft Pick

Note: Arizona will immediately buy-out the contract of Zack Smith (all this year for a total of $10.3m) pending approval of this trade.

Arizona is very pleased to announce a trade with Tampa Bay's new GM. In return for a good amount of cap relief and a 3rd Round pick the Coyotes get a much needed defensive prospect.
Thanks to Barry for making his first DNHL deal in the desert!

I approve of this trade with Arizona.
This deal makes sense that it opens some cap space too allow the rebuilding process for the future of this team.The draft pick will help restock the Minors and improve the teams future prospects in the growth process.

Good trade for Tampa getting rid of that ugly contract.

Zona has the cap to do the buy out and adds an interesting prospect who hasn’t quite lived up to the billing....... yet
