Title: Detroit and Tampa trade

To Tampa :TBL:
C - Victor Ejdsell (SDP 2018: UNDRAFTED - 6 Games)
D - Brett Lernout (2014: 3/73 - 21 Games)
Round 2 - 2018  (from :NJD:*) - [2nd rd pick #45]

To Detroit :DET-NHL:
Round 1 - 2018  (from :COL-NHL:*; originally :MIN-NHL:) - [1st rd pick #6]

This is a major gamble on Detroit's part, but most of you guys know that I'm ok with risks and gambles. Ejdsell and Lernout have a great shot at sticking in the NHL next season and are even more valuable due to the prospect rules put in place this year, but I have a crowded minor league roster and saw an opportunity to package multiple pieces in order to move up in the draft.

It's too soon to say who will be available at pick #6 or whether this trade is worth it in the long run, but at the end of the day its two I get to move up in the draft and Tampa gets to keep filling out a depleted minor league roster.

Tampa agrees to tradei move a 1st rd to add some young talented guys to my minors and hopeing they get to make it in 2018-2019 to nhl roster. I also add a 2nd rd pick.
