We've decided to move Bogosian now to get some warm bodies to ice versus taking advantage of his dirt cheap extension this off-season likely to be approx 1.0m. Once we get Jagr we'll buyout his contract. TJ's a decent defender who'll get us what Zach would've and he'll fit in with our group of defenders. Thanks for the trade talks Dtoxfan!

Approve, pending confirmation by the Flames.
This trade makes me worried about my playoff chances, but that's probably why its a good trade. Zach will be a cheap resign and if he could ever stay healthy he a good enough Dman. Carr and Grenier are interesting given their age and what they've done so far, but Flames do well by getting rid of dead cap space in Jagr, picking up Bogo and Gunner, and taking some chances with the other pieces.

:iatp: Pending :CLG: confirmation. Bogosian might be a bust at this point in his career. Jagr's cap hit of 1.5m over 3yrs makes this deal balance out.

With the inclusion on Jagr's 3 year $1.5 Million contract this trade is balanced. The assets headed to Calgary are fair compensation for the 2 players Montreal acquires.
