I really don't want to give up O'Regan. He's been flying up the rankings and I think he's going to be a stud. However I really need a Dman, and Ekholm fits that bill. I also am pretty weak in the goalie department so getting another goalie prospect is big for me. Fasching is a former gopher so a little homerism on him.

O'Regan was the key player in this deal for me. Hoping that he will make the NHL roster next year. Coepley was available because it could take a long time before he reaches the NHL (2 NHL goalies in front of him). Elkholm is a good Dman but I have t prospects waiting to take his place next year. Fasching was included because :CHI-NHL: is a gopher fan.
Donskoi and Comeau are two average players but they will be part of my roster ready for the playoffs
