Title: releasing retired players

retracting my original request on ruling for retired players, it appears it was answered under rules committee thread on a 2/23 update

Dan, as I said in his other thread about releasing Boone, it appears that an extension was never signed.  I did my research and came up empty.  I couldn't see a reason why Boone would be under contract anyways.  I say we can drop him off of the roster and wait to see the guy on ESPN's Baseball Tonight.
