:iatp: Colorado is making serious inroads to fine tuning his troops and frees cap potentially unlock future moves to promote players or complete other deals. Columbus gets a good package of talent.

BJ's know what they're doing. Getting proven talent for their top pick, whose had a history of injuries. With that said, Colorado should still win this deal long term.

Well after a long day I made it back as I said I would to give a break down. Ant must have ESP because I was looking around to construct some kind of deal involving Nolan Patrick. So last night as I finished watching the Bruins and Preds I was notified I had mail. It was this offer and was told to think about it (took all of 3 minutes). Nolan Patrick is going to be solid as soon as he grows into his NHL skates, clearly the second best option in a decent draft class. Being in the toughest division in the league I felt the need to accept this trade. What it does is makes CBJ older and more productive NOW. Both Stepan (27) and Strome (24) average 8.3 points a week combined (through 9 weeks), this is like adding a decent back up goalie. I have lost many games by 7 or less points. This move in no way pushes me to the top but make me more competitive now and later. Plus CBJ gets a 2nd first round pick in a 2018 draft that is deep with talent. Ant has a very interesting situation going in Colorado to say the least. Thanks for the offer Antman and good luck to you.
