Well this was a bitter sweet move for me I REALLY like Husso. Kid is going to be real good.....................However. Looking at my current situation and looking forward I have a 24 year old TG in Hellebuyck and a 26 year old back up in Kuemper (who I think will be the TG in LA next season). Could I have fit Husso in the mix? Sure could have, he will be up I believe at the after next season. This will give him a full year in San Antonio as their TG (Colorado's specs move on to the Colorado Eagles next year). On to the return.......I spent many hours watching old footage and reading about Nikita Zaitsev when I (Zona) signed him well before Toronto inked him (they were rumored to sign him). he was difficult to move form Zona. Any way to sum it up, Kid got game he is a very solid blue liner and can pass and score. A very welcome addition to a soft Toronto (FNHL) blue line. The 3rd that came over is Zonas, all I need to say is I like the Draft. Thanks for the talks Ant! nice doing business

Zaitsev is the prototypical NHL blueliner for today's game. Packaged with a draft pick, this trade goes to Toronto who will have the opportunity to use a Franchise Player discount to control Zaitsev's extension contract to be signed during next off-season. Husso is a good goaltender but as is the case with all goalies, it is difficult to predict how they will develop.
