Philly confirms. What started as a 3 player deal grew. Think we're both happy with our new players. Hoping Petr stops crapping the bed and begins to push Howard for more starts. Harts is Harts and always has good value and posts pts. Comeau having a bounce back season. The prospects are good too. Time will tell which ones make it to The Show. Good negotiations EG! :toast:

:iatp: Big trade with lots of filler. Giving the edge to Flyers but if Pickard makes it back to the NHL with a good team like the Buds, Sens will be a clear winner.

I'll take a warm backup G now while trying to stay with the pack of contenders. But it kills me that Mrazek can't seem to beat back old man Howard to lockdown the starting gig in Motown. The job was probably his 2 years ago.

Pickard seems buried in Toronto behind Sparks. He is doing really well in the AHL and Curtis Mc is on his last leg. Hartnell is good and makes this deal work for Ottawa.

This is a large trade that does not contain big name players. By that I mean Scott Hartnell is well past his prime and likely as another individual stated buried on a second or third line in Nashville. Petr Mrazek struggled in Detroit when the franchise was icing a winning team that made the post-season regularly and it is no surprise he is struggling even more now that the Red Wings are rebuilding. This is a balanced trade for both teams involved.
