Sox will confirm

From Brewers standpoint ,while, it hurts to give up a mlb reg w/ power and versatility receiving 2 top 100 specs and an (almost) mlb ready pitcher is a good return.-

Well the Red Sox have yet to confirm but based on initial reactions...yeah you guys might want to rework this trade because the chances it passes the veto process are slim to none. Sort of surprised to see this come from Red Sox TBH. Maybe a miscommunication?

Red Sox do confirm i do lose a lot but i am looking to gain a mlb player to hopefully help me take a step closer to competing this year.

Interesting trade but I don't think it is unfair...Brewers are just taking the bigger risk. They probably could have gotten another prospect or international money but the three guys they get in return will be in the MLB in the near future (1-3 years.); albeit, I only have faith one will be mainstay. Plus, there is no guarantee Scooter is the same player next year or thereafter.

The more I look at this trade the more okay I am with it. Not sure if Scooter will keep up last years production but he is still under control for a couple more years and is cheap. The prospects have some warts themselves too given the ranking/name value they carry. Just a lot of risk all around. And I think it’s two owners trying to do good by their teams, no funny business... :iatp:

 :iatp: wow only 3 specs for him! I would have paued more for a player with his contract. That beeing said both teams agreed to it so i believe both teams feal they got what they wanted.
