franchise these shark players
Jaroslav Halak, $9.4m (2016-2021)
David Backes, $7.9m (2016-2020)

Yoy dont have to announce your 2017-18 FPs until youre ready. Your Sharks have plenty of cap space to not rush into this. Once the players are tagged as FPs, you cannot trade them. Just a reminder.

Indiansnation, neither of these guys can get franchised because neither was drafted by SJ and neither play for the NHL Sharks.
