Canucks are going to take a gamble and extend hometown kid Troy Stecher:

120th ranked D = $1.8m extension

Bump that up to $2.0m per year to get him on a 3-year deal.

D Troy Stecher, $2.0m (2019-2020)


Here's hoping he improves on his rookie season and makes this contract worth it (or better yet, makes this contract look cheap in comparison to what he is producing!)
