Tough to trade Staal, definitely the best player in the trade. But the Pens are good at center, and Beaulieu helps continue our summer of improving the blueline. We also like Leipsic as a sleeper.

Plus, I think I get a set of steak knives for being the 20th owner to trade Fucale.

Caps agree. As a Canes fan, we like adding Staal here. Not a big homer when it comes to fantasy, but Staal is in his prime and plays great in this format. He is cheap now, and we hope to keep him around for another 3-4 yrs. King is likely headed down the KHL buyout path, so there was some risk here. Overall, I trade 3 guys I won in FA last year, so I feel good about doing that homework to turn it into a better asset for my team this year. About all I did last year, as my team sucked. Team is stacked in the top 9 now, just got some holes on D and G.
