The New York Mets and the San Diego Padres have agreed to a trade.

J.J. Hoover ($500k)
Trey Supak
Max Wotell
$1 Million Cash (2017 Cap)

For

Shin-Soo Choo ($3.5m)



The Mets outfield is empty and this will help me field a starting team. Shin-Soo "Tobacco" Choo instantly becomes the 2nd most productive outfielder on my roster this season. He's signed through 2020 at a very risk-able $3.5 million and should provide a couple more seasons of solid production. I've retained all my future draft picks and I am still well under the salary cap.

Please list all salary info next to each player (PC) if prospect and clarify the 1M cash. Is that for only this year, each year of Choos contract, etc?

Thanks. Soo makes $3.5m and Hoover $500k. I don't see any salaries beyond that. The money was intended for this year.

You are not allowed to trade cap space unless it is to cover outgoing salary.

Like Chris said, you can only send salary that is covering an outgoing players guaranteed salary.

Therefore the trade is invalid. You guys will have to work out an adjustment to make it legal and repost.
