D Mattias Ekholm, $2.2m (2020-2021)

:BUF-NHL: Trades

RW/LW Michael Grabner, $3.8m (2019-2020)
Buffalo pays $1.6m salary this yr.

Happy to do this trade with Buffalo for a good winger like Grabner.I needed the scoring but I lose a nice defenseman who is cheap.Grabner should help me in the long run.

Elklholm is a decent D and I need him to replace Tryamkim who has decided to return to KHL and to be closer to his mom. I have enough RW so I could spare Grabner. It will also save me $1.6 for future years to be used to resign players
