Gents, I goofed on the Playoff schedule when I set up the 2016-17 season and only allowed for a 1wk FNHL Finals instead of the traditional 2 week showcase of our Top 2 franchises.
I'll discuss with PR to see what's best course of action.

I never understood how the entire season could be based on 1 week matchups and yet it's most important week, championship week would be different than what we base the league off of all year.
If every matchup were 2 weeks, the standings would look very different.
Since I've never been in the final, this has never affected me directly, but if I ever get there and had the lead after the first week but lost....for all that $$$

If this would have been the case last year, the (http://profsl.com/smf/Smileys/default/LAK.png) would have only beat my (http://profsl.com/smf/Smileys/default/PIT-NHL.png) by 50 ... instead of 100 (http://www.profsl.com/smf/Smileys/default/rotfl.gif)

for the same reason the NHL Playoffs are a best of 7 and not a sudden death , you want the best team to win, especially for the final matchup of the season. The teams that get to the final dance have put together great teams and no one wants to lose on a fluke week where you had a bad games schedule.
Sorry, just playing devils advocate. I think there is a good case to be had for a 2 week final,
