Title: Protest and Request to Return.
Post by: Daniel on January 15, 2017, 05:23:51 PM
I was not contacted via email. I had no important actions to take for my team until FA started except the FYPD which many GMs usually miss. I had not logged in because the only league I am playing in has been FGM and there was no reason for me to log in during the offseason. I come back for FA and I have been kicked out of my team? This is a lack of respect for an active GM who has been around for years. The login rules have always applied for times of activity, not for the periods of inactivity during the offseason. If they really wanted to contact me they could had just sent me an email since I was clearly not logging in to the website.

I would like to request to be reinstated as GM of the Blue Jays.

I don't remember the exact circumstances but I am 100% sure that there were efforts to contact you. I also know that at one point this past fall you hadn't logged on for at least 6 weeks. Witness the fact that you missed the entire FYPD that started on 11/1/16.
Sorry Daniel, reapply if you like. You may be reconsidered for future openings

I sent you several PMs, which go to your listed e-mail, and please, let's not pretend you were a fountain of activity.  Telling me you forgot about the FYPD when a variety of alerts went out is simply not believable.  Commitment is your responsibility, I made every effort to see if you still wanted to be in FGM, but you did not respond.  You can re-apply for a future opening, but I am not going to honor any request for reinstatement.

Emails do not got to my listed email since I did not receive anything in my mailbox and I check it a couple of times a week. If I had I would had logged in to answer as I never had any intention of leaving this league. This is ridiculous, I have been building my team for years, I do not want a different team. I even passed on an offer to take the Dodgers at a time even thought they are my favorite team and had a great winning squad because it was not the team I built. Since when do efforts to find "missing" managers happen in November? The least active month for a fantasy baseball league in the history of times? I would had expected at the very least an email. I think I deserved that courtesy.

The last time you logged on was August 29, 2016.  We alerted everyone that we were having our FYPD in November and you were MIA.  Efforts to contact you were made in late November and we heard nothing.  It's not a sign of disrespect on our part--your inactivity was something we have seen many times in the past by others who fade away into oblivion--so as unfortunate it is for you, your only option is to re-apply.

Really Daniel? Even as a non-member you insist on arguing?
You are at fault here and you know it. If you want to look at the participation log we can but you won't be happy with it.
With every keystroke you lessen your chances of even being considered for re-entry. Best leave it alone
