Since Ive got extea time on my hands now overseeing only 1 team thought about a new thing we could do with prospect FAs.
Why dont we allow 1 active roster player to get RE-established as a MiLR player at the end of the yr? Alll the same qualifications like less than 40 games played.
OR
Hold a special draft yr end. The Supplimental! Or whatever.
Maybe its a reward for the Team making the postseason excluding the Champion.
Maybe its used for the bottom 14/15 teams or Non playoff teams to help them rebuild.

I love the idea of a Supplimental Draft :winner:
That an extra thing we get to use to build our teams.
Use it.
Trade it.

Lets see what ppl say about this idea. Then we will see if it deserves a vote.

not big on the demotion idea since it would require carrying a guy with no games played and then there is the contract issue. Can I demote a prospect goalie that I bid up to 1 million per year on...It would have to be defined a lot of variables. It would probably play well into my strategies just not sure if it would be good for the league.
Supplemental draft, I like it. I always wanted a way to in a way reward guys doing the work to scout gems. Hate having to throw them into the FA gauntlet where anyone at that point can just google the name.

A Supplemental draft just makes a whole lot of sense in this league. Deep with tons of owners who know how to dig for specs. :toast:

Is this worth voting on...

If 5 owners/GMs ask for a vote we will hold one to create a Supplemental Draft.

I like the ability to draft some young players that are already a little seasoned. We should be rewarded for spec research.
I suggest the Supplemental Draftees be treated the same as Entry Draftees, handed the same type of EL contract, but kept on a different set of minors that has 20 spots.
If we want these Supplemental Draft Picks to have and hold value the drafted prospects need to be housed the same way our current prospects are handled. Those are my thoughts.

Great change to make to Franchise NHL and a fantastic way to increase the value of prospects. :iatp:

When is the vote to create a FNHL SUPPLEMENTAL DRAFT going up? Want me to post? Then the question is how many rounds for the Supp Draft? 1 or 2?
-
It would appear everyone has the ability to post a poll Jack Daniels.
