Title: Hurricanes-Wild Trade

Hurricanes Trade:

Tobias Rieder, $1.5m (2015-2018)

Wild Trade:

C - Adam Musil (2015: 4/94 - 0 Games)
C - Clayton Keller (2016: 1/7 - 0 Games)
D - Logan Stanley (2016: 1/18 - 0 Games)
Shawn Matthias, $1.6m (2015-2018)

I really like Clayton Keller and think the other two guys, while not high end prospects are both physical guys that will play in the NHL at some point and be key contributors. Matthias is a throw in to make the salary work.

I'm giving up a 20-25 goalscorer on a good contract. You have to admire Indians aggressiveness. He wins this trade short term.

Wild agree to trade. I add another player that gets me some points. Im hopeing in long turn i give up a tone of tallent exspeccially in keller. I had to think alot about this but i felt the trade was even in long term hurricans made out but im looking to win by next yr if not this yr

Keller won the Hobey. So didn't Johnny Gaudreau and Jack Eichel. That is the company he is in. On top of that, he has been compared to Kane.  Hard to not like what Carolina does here.  I approve of the trade. Hopefully he busts for Minny's sake.

LOVE the trade for Hurricanes. FNHL is a deep and tough league, I just can't fathom Rieder is THAT good is he? I got my $ on Keller being the best player in the deal when it's all said and done.

I've been wrong before...but that package, omg it's a nice haul. Rieder better be a beast.
