Trade to :NYR:
Derek Forbort, $0.2m (2016-2018)

Trade to :VAN:
D - Julius Bergman (2014: 2/46 - 0 Games)
Round 4 - 2017 :NYR:

Canucks do this trade due to massive need to improve its poor minor roster in getting Bergman who one of the top D prospects at the Sharks AHL team, 2nd in D scoring and a 4th round pick.
Losing Forbort hurts us for now, but believe Bergman will out produce Forbort in 3/4 years time.

Good for both. Forbort was a great inexpensive FA signing for VAN and they turned that into a great prospect and 4th rounder. Rangers get a cheap Dman who's putting up some point nightly.

We're interested in the here and now. I know Forbort got picked up as a FA dirt cheap. I figure this is a fair price for what the Derek brings and both teams walk away happy. Thanks for the easy going talks Daz! :thumbsup:
