Title: Flames/Blackhawks

Flames trade for 2 very talented players and deal a troubled player. Backlund and Lindholm are a classic buy low move and can easily replace what E.Kane brought to our team when the guy was healthy. The prospects we're sending are good too but I like the package of players we're getting more and thats what counts.

Mikeal Backlund, $2.9m (2015-2018)
Elias Lindholm, $2.8m (2016-2019)
RW - Samuel Kurker (2012: 2/56 - 0 Games)
C - Zachary Stepan (2012: 4/112 - 0 Games)

Hawks Get
LW Evander Kane, $5.9m (2016-2020)
D - Xavier Ouellet (2011: 2/48 - 36 Games) 
D - Kyle Wood (2104: 3/84 - 0 Games)

I needed a LW here and now! Shopped around but lots of players I wanted had big cap hits I couldn't figure out how to fit into my Hawks limited cap space. Evander is my kind of player. Bad to the bone! The prospect Dmen should be good ones. I'm pumped.
