:BUF-NHL3: Sabres will sign backup G Scott Darling, $2.3m (2014-2017) to an extension.
He's ranked 42nd last yr and 44th this yr. He's due 5.1m for 3yr but we'll give him a few more dollars to get Scott signed for a 4th yr.
New extension
Scott Darling, $5.5m (2016-2020)
