Title: Lightning & Wild trade #2
Post by: Daddy on November 01, 2016, 01:18:19 AM
Bolts send:
LW Matt Calvert .8m (2015-2017)
LW/RW Connor Sheary  $.5m (2016-2018)

Wild send:
RW Reilly Smith, $2.6m (2015-2018)

Ination was very interested in Sheary, I can't blame him, Sheary has been bumped to Pitts #1 line, and he was just extended on the cheap. Giving Calvert is further depleting my depth. I hope Mr. Smith is worth it.

Thanks Ination for the talks again.
Wild to confirm

Wild agree to this trade I hate to lose a player like Reilly but need some more body's to my team and adding a young. Player like she art I can see helping my team more in long run. Calvert is a interesting player of he can start scoreing my home team Columbus will give him the Minutes on the ice.

I can see Minnesota's total salary dropping below $54.0m because of this and the other TBL deal.... meaning wait to make this trade or rework it.

A trade cannot happen if it causes a team to go into violation.

Cap floor of $54.0m needs to be maintained during the year.

However with the Carolina deal it might work out.

Tentative :iatp: if cap limits are met by Minnesota.

:iatp: I think it should work out. At least it won't torpedo both deals. Might just put one of the 2 deals with the Lightning on pause.
