I approve.

I made this trade because I have good depth at Center and I really needed a good scoring D-Man, but all the D-Men who would have been available at the #8 spot in the draft would have killed any cap room I had left.

This trade allowed me to pick up a top D-Man, add LW depth, and move down later in the 1st round where I can replace Connolly's point production with a cheaper Center option.
