Title: Astros-Giants trade 7/11/16 10:29A East

Giants trade:
SP Rea, Colin, $0.5m (P-n/a)           
MI Dubon, Mauricio, $0.5m (P-n/a)   

Astros trade:
MI Grant Green, $0.5m (P-n/a)

This is a move done with a "homer's heart".  Getting another Giant on the roster is a plus, but it is also a move to bolster my bench.  With Tomlinson being sent to the minors, along with Panik's propensity to injury (although as a Giants fan I hope Panik can stay healthy even though in FGM he is not on my team), Green's emergence is a boost to my MI corp.  Giving up Rea, a young arm who has had his ups and downs, along with a MI prospect in Dubon, is a bit of a reach for a bench player, but something the Giants are willing to do to strengthen their roster.

A younger arm and a prospect is a great haul for a journey-man on my rebuilding team. Thanks to the Giants for the trade.
