Title: New Award Discussion: Backyard Hall of Fame (Please comment)
Post by: Drew on June 23, 2016, 12:45:49 PM: Don't know who this was originally proposed by.

Just looking for some feedback here. Thinking of introducing this next year. Following the NHL protocols anyone that would be inducted would require a 75% approval rate from the populous of voters.

Here are some things I need help with:
1) Who should be the voters? (Current BY members, the community, third party vote)

2) What are the requirements for eligibilty?
- # of years in Backyard?
- retired/non-retired?
- contributions to league stipulation?
- Playoffs/Finalist/Cups

3) Any other comments here.

It would be a tribute and a Hall of Memory for sure. Like for when Tony steps away and we can all remember he won 4 cups in a row. Kind of like that. :puke:

Post by: Drew on July 09, 2016, 11:49:14 PM: Going to make a commissioners decision on this and not introduce the new award. This will be a discussion we have once a GM retires/leaves in which we think is justified in beginning the award.
