Astros Trade
$1.75m international money for 2016

Philllies Trade
2016 2nd round pick
Nate Schierholtz $1.3m (2016)

Astros trade some international money for upcoming free agency period to acquire an extra draft pick.  Astros take on Nate Schierholtz's contract to complete the deal.  Thanks to Phillies.

Phillies confirm.  I hate to give up the draft pick but this is more a salary dump to be able to call up a few players that can help this season.  The IFA money makes it much easier to pull the trigger.

Phillies will promote Blake Snell and Tim Anderson upon completion of this deal.
