Title: Kings and Panthers Reach Deal

Los Angeles management is pleased to announce a trade with the Florida Panthers to acquire a veteran presence on the blue line.

Traded to the Panthers
Tyler Ennis, $3.4m (2015-2018)
Bryan Bickell, $0.4m (2015-2017)

Traded to the Kings
Johnny Boychuk, $2.7m (2013-2016)
Jaccob Slavin, $0.2m (2015-2017)

We deal a forward to rent a top pair defender in Boychuk and add a depth defenceman. Ennis cannot help us now so he was expendable even with term remaining on his contract.

Florida to confirm.

Cats agree. We werent going to resign Johnny with Price needing a mega extension and Ennis has 2yrs left on a great contract. Everyone else was filler to balance the deal. Hoping Bickell can return to form by the syart of nxt yr. Thx for the easy going trade talks DD.
