Just wondering your guy's thoughts.
I have never been a huge NHL fan until about 6 years ago. I live and die with the Caps, and always have a game on the TV.
I wasn't huge on the 3-on-3 format at first, but I have watched every second on the game so far. The John Scott-Patrick Kane "fight" just happened. Corny, for sure...but also awesome!
I think the NHL has a great format here. Seems like more defense is being played, and players seem to care a little more. I also like the East vs. East, West vs. West, and Winner vs. Winner.
All in all, I think it is a great change. :toast:

by far the most entertaining all star game I watched in a long time. was nice to see the players actually playing and seemed like they cared. Usually in all sports I find the all star games rather boring.

I've thought this for years. The other allstar games aren't entertaining at all. I don't think I've ever in my life watched more than 2 minutes of the Pro Bowl. The MLB allstar game was kinda interesting during the steroid era... Oh, did you hear, IT MATTERS! Right..
Oh and NBA... I mean WWF... I mean NBA... Yea who cares!
