Title: Kings and Sabres Trade

Los Angeles management is pleased to announce a trade with the Sabres. Kings acquire Josi with an expiring contract and a substantial extension over $6 Million in return for Dano and a pair of productive (when at full health) Defensemen in veterans Greene and Orpik.

Traded to Buffalo
Marko Dano, $1.0m (2015-2018-EL)
Matt Greene, $1.1m (2014-2016)
Brooks Orpik, $1.5m (2013-2016)

Dealt to Los Angeles
Roman Josi, $3.3m (2013-2016)

We wish the three players well and know Marko Dano will be a star in the near future.

Buffalo to confirm acceptance of this trade.

Josi was going to be a deadline deal anyway so we're jumping the gun a little and moving him now for more pieces we can work with as the trade deadline approaches.

Dano is a great addition and we're in need of RW. Can't beat a $1m rookie contract for the next 3yrs. :thumbsup:

If I can use Matt Greene and Brooks Orpik in Buffalo or in a future trade that'll make this deal even sweeter.
