Saint Louis Cardinals send 2B Jason Kipnis (4M, 2016) to Cleveland Indians for all these prospects:

SS Adam Frazier
P Matt Koch
P Luis Ramirez
3B Erik Gonzalez
P Conner Greene

With this trade Cardinals achieve two of his goals this offseason: improve our farm system and get more salary cap in order to work in the free agency. We consider we have well covered the 2B position and we will not miss Jason Kipnis.

The Indians confirm this deal I don't mind tradinig unproven prospects for a relatively cheap 2b
secondbase is thin in free agency this year we get A 2b A position badly needed without trading away our prized prospects
