Title: Stars LTIR moves

:DAL-NHL: will activate Paul Stastny, $3.3m (2015-16)  from IR & will place Ondrej Palat, $7.6m (2018-19) and Dmitry Kulikov, $1.1m (2015-16) on LTIR   

Jason Chimera, $1.0m (IR Contract) will be for Kulikov

You cannot move an IR contract to another player. Chimera either needs to be released or signed to a 1 year contract in order for him to remain on your team.

So I will sign him to a 1 year deal  for 2.3m  best year rank 46th this year .

At the time the IR player returns these players must either be released to free agency or signed to an extension, at their current cap hit, and count against cap and roster size.

I think you can sign him for the rest of the season at $1m :thumbsup:

after further review i noticed that this would put Dallas over the cap unless I made an error?

Their cap is 72.1m and this move would put them at 73.1m

change of plan we will call up *Sven Andrighetto, $0.4m (2015-16) as IR replacement for Kulikov  and *Jay Boumeester, $3.0m (2015-16)  for Palat  . so that we can waive Grabner instead .
