Title: Salary Cap
Post by: Drew on June 21, 2011, 01:24:23 AM
Salary Cap
The Salary will be a flat hard cap.  It will mock the NHL with an 8% increase:
-- The Upper Limit:  $61,500,000
-- The Lower Limit:  $48,500,000

Just wondering does this mean the cap for next season will be 66.4m and the floor will be 52.4m

shouldnt the cap be

64,000,000 x 0.08 = 5,120,000

64,000,000 + 5,120,000 = 69,120,000

The rule says mock the NHL Cap + an 8% increase??

I believe this would be correct.  I am on vacation for two days and on friday I will post letting everyone know the new cap situation!

FYI the cap increase wouldn't be until next season begins, for those teams over the cap this season.
