Hey Bill. You have two options here:

1) Take a warning and Paul Martin is returned to free agency.

Quote
1) Once a free agent is won, a contract for that player must be submitted (in the same post as the FA won). This must be posted within 4 days. This will result in the following penalties
1 - Failure To Announce Contract For A Won Free Agent
1st - Warning and player released to free agency
2nd - Banned from league at discretion of league commissioner or probation from free agency bidding
Any free agent that is won is not given a contract due to cap issues will fall under a penalty for not clearing cap space.

2) Sign Paul to a 1 year contract at $2.5m and send him to the minors since you have a ton of space in your minors and lots of room.

Let me know what you wish to do.

Fine I will sign him to a 1 year contract at $2.5m on main roster. Because my bid was not enough I did not think it was valid
