Title: Commissioner's Office Staff Responsibilities & Open Positions

If you're interested in any of the below openings, let me know.

Transactions Committee (3 to 5 positions, 3 to 5 openings)

Review the following for collusion and legality:
-   Trades
-   Waiver claims
-   Free agent signings
-   Promotions / demotions

Legality refers to making sure no rules are broken if the transaction is processed (i.e. salary cap, roster size, players involved actually belong to the organizations involved, etc.)


League Presidents (2 positions, 2 openings)

Process transactions on Fantrax rosters (add/drops, trades) according to what is approved by the Transactions Committee on the forum.

Note: A league president may also sit on the Transactions Committee, if selected.

Commissioner (1 position, filled by Kenny)

- Continue to develop the league in order to maintain competitiveness and fair play.
- Promote the league and recruit members as necessary.
- Maintain official rosters and contracts listings.
- Resolve league disputes
- Assist the Transactions Committee and league presidents as necessary.


Co-commissioner (1-2 positions, 1-2 openings)

Assist the commissioner with his responsibilities

Based on this thread, http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?topic=24749.0, it appears the league wants an external trade committee. That would make AFB's Transactions Committee mostly administrative (may even disband it and just take care of the non-trade transactions between myself and Shelby, if nobody's interested in that).

However, we may have a period before ProFSL has the Trade Committee up and running where we will have trades in this league. If that happens, we will use an internal trade committee in the meanwhile.

If you are not in favor of an external TC, feel free to voice your opinions on the linked thread. I haven't received too much feedback on this matter and can change the TC rule if there's strong support for it.
