Lots of shuffling parts in this one before we signed off.
Flamers wanted to move Muzzin and Cally.
In the end the price wasn't as steep as I had thought probably because Muzz is looking at a big raise. Had to send some cap back and shipped Hoffman. Excited to get one of my Flyers Raffl to Ohio. Pastrnak and Klefbom are both up and comers!

We werent really interested in keeping Jake Muzzin on with a deal over 6m so this is turning a pending FA into something useful. Shattenkirk had an injury last yr but should bounce back. Couturier, Hoffman and Klefbom are all still kids with lots of potential.
The future of the Flames is burning bright haha :thumbsup:

Fairly even trade when you consider Calgary did not have much cap to resign all their players and appeared to be ready to let Muzzin test Free Agency then resign to a $6 Million extension contract. Columbus is fortunate to have enough available cap to make the deal happen.
