I like Semin more than I do these picks even at 31 yo. especially given his LW, RW eligibility.

Hopefully Semin bounces back, but the Canes aren't a team I would bet on. Daddy really hates draft picks, but hey he's got a good squad even without a minor league. His team is young and talented.

:iatp: Avs cleaned up on this deal given Semin was exposed to FA 3 times last yr. So getting anything for Semin is a big bonus. Good news for the Bolts is Semin's got a tiny cap hit with big potential if he shows up.

Just cause Semin was exposed doesn't make him less viable. I expect a bounce back. ( Daddy's Semin is always better than expected :thumbsup: )

When its all said & done track the draft picks production verse Semin in 2-3 years. Then you will know who won this trade. (Its always Daddy)  :iatp:

Not sure about that write-up there Daddy but I'm giving the win to you as well. Great little contract and even if he performs at half speed you're getting the better.

As for tracking....I basically parlayed those picks into Adrian Kempe.  :toth:
