D Francois Beauchemin, $3.7m (2014-2017)
D Stephane Robidas, $2.8m (2014-2017)
W Martin Havlat, $1.5m (2014-2017)


Was looking for a way to resign Scandella and Holden and Ottawa came knocking. :thumbsup: We're getting younger and more talented with Jake. We get to move that bum Havlat and a couple of ex-Habs that stunk up our dressing rm this yr. Probably cost us the championship. Haha

The package of players we receive for Trouba affords our team the luxury of a multitude of options to improve our performance in 2015-16.

Havlat has eligibility at both Wing positions. The pair of defensemen are still productive. Grandly the trio are in the twilight of their careers they will no less improve our team one way or another.

Thank you Boston for the easy going negotiations.

:iatp: Boston is getting a sure thing while Ottawa is adding a question mark in Beauchemin who is set to be a UFA this summer and Robidas is coming off an injury plagued season while Martin was scratched a ton to end the season. Win to Beantown.
