Haven't the last couple bids been illegal due to not raising $2M?

Since both parties continued to bid, we should be allowed to continue bidding.

If the Mod had made his comment on the first "illegal' bid, it would have been revised.

To come in at the end of the bidding after several bids have been made "illegally" according to him, after the fact, seems disingenuous.

Let's also take into account glorifiedg's bid on other players at that time. He's close to being over the cap.
