Title: Some Draft Details
Post by: Drew on March 26, 2011, 07:15:37 PM
First, all draft eligible prospect that are at this link are eligible for our draft.
http://www.mynhldraft.com/2011-nhl-draft-prospects/
As well as any free agent prospects who have 0 games of NHL experience and are not currently owned by a team in this league.

Second, I believe it would be most beneficial for our league to have our entry draft after the real entry draft. So we can draft for cap reasons and have a couple days of highly touted prospects information before our draft. Let's say for a tentative date of June 28th.

Can we get a confirmed date a month before so I can request off of work? I would like to be there for the draft.

Wouldn't a weekend date work better? Especially for those of us who work during the week. I wouldn't want to miss this. Maybe take a league vote on a date and time, similar to what we did for our fantasy draft?

Ya the weekend after the actual draft would be good then people do not have to miss the draft. Saturday would be the 2nd and Sunday would be the 3rd.

I'm on shift work so I'd never know if I'm on days or nights during the week. I get the weekends off though so a weekend date would work perfectly for me. What does everyone else think?

As long as I get a month in advance notice, I am good.

I also prefer Sundays but Saturdays work too.
