Flyers do this deal for one reason, to get Stamkos. I am going all in this year to try to win a championship. I like Landeskog and Fucale a lot but I had to give something up for Stamkos. Stolarz has a chance in a couple years to start for Philly as well.

For us we rate Fucale ahead of Stolarz, Landeskog is a 21 yr old stud, Jensen/Maroon > Carter by alot. I would not part with Stammy unless i got what i wanted, and honestly this BARELY met my price, but it does.

I am not sure what scares me more: seeing Tampa Bay actively bulking up their roster from the MiLR to the MLR or knowing both these teams are in the Eastern Conference.
I believe both teams are getting players that will help them contend for the Cup however I will give the Edge to the Flyers for getting the best player. Ultimately the Lightning will come away with the better group of players but it will take another few years to realize all that amazing potential.

This is a monster deal and I love it. I few this deal as pretty even. Stamkos is the best player, but Landy is no slouch and will only get better.

I just love this deal for Tampa. Landeskog and Maroon are excellent and Tampa near doubled their available cap space.
My money is on the two of them outproducing Stamkos starting this season. It's all about man-games played so if Stammer breaks a leg it's a beauty move indeed!

:iatp: its the yr of the blockbuster! You got to love the packages going each way. Theres a stud. Theres prospects with decent potential and ones with high potential. Flyers arent done because theyre slightly over the cap ceiling after this deal so get redy for more dealing from Philly.

Good Blockbuster! Stamkos getting knocked out by a 2nd major injury would be like lightning striking the same spot twice. Yeah I went there. Lol I'm giving the win to :TBL: for that great package. Maroon is good now. Jensen will be good this yr. Gab was great when he was born. Furcale is like Slack said a wicked trading chip! :thumbsup:
